5.2. Create Club League

In the top bar of the website, click the “Create” button (1) and select “Club League” (2). Check image 1 below.

In the following pop-up (check Image 2 below), select Sport(3). Your default sport is selected. Your default sport is selected when creating your profile. You can change it in your Account settings. After selecting sport, click the “Create (4)” button.

You will be redirected to Create Club League Form. In this page, you will need to enter the necessary information for the league:

 

A. Club League Name

  • Club League Name (*required)

B. Ranking

  • Select Ranking (optional)

 

C. Player Movement

  • Promote/Demote Players per round

  • Skipped Round Position Drop

 

D. Club / Organizer

  • Club / Organizer (optional)

 

E. Location

  • Name

  • Country (*required)

  • Address

 

F. Dates

  • Entry deadline (*required)

  • Date settings

  • Start Date (*required)

  • End Date (*required)

G. Regulations (optional)

 

H. Matches type

  • Matches type

A. Club League Name:

 

The name will appear on the event page, event poster, players can search the event by the name in the search bar and the event will appear in the Calendar page.

 

B. Ranking:

 

In this step you can add a Ranking for your club league. Players will get points for their final standing position and the points will be accumulated in the Ranking. This is an optional feature. You can run your Club League without it, but in the end the players will only get their final position without points. If you want to add a ranking, click the “Select Ranking” button, search for your ranking, select it and finally click the “Confirm” button. If you haven’t created a ranking yet, you should create it before you add it in your club league. To create Ranking follow these instructions

 

C. Player Movement

 
  • Promote/Demote Players per round

 

When creating a new round, players are promoted/demoted depending on their standings in the pool in the previous round. If “Promote One and Demote one pool player” is selected, the player in the 1st position will be promoted to the higher pool (1 position up) and the last positioned player will be demoted to the lower pool (1 position down). If “Promote Two and Demote Two pool players” is selected, the players in the 1st and 2nd position will be promoted to the higher pool (1 position up) and the 2 last positioned players will be demoted to the lower pool (1 position down). 

 

 

  • Skipped Round Position Drop

 

If a player misses a round (does not join the actual round) that players’ standing is dropped for 1 or 2 positions, depending on what option is selected; “1 place down” or “2 places down”. If a player rejoins for the next round, the player will be positioned 1 or 2 positions lower than in the previous round.

 

D. Club / Organizer:

 

In this step, you can add your Club/Organization that is organizing the Club League. This is optional.

 

E. Location

  • Name: Information about the name of the location, for example “Oslo Squash Courts”. Visible on the Event Page. 

  • Country: Selecting Country is required. This information is shown on the event page. It can also be used to filter events by Country in the calendar page.

  • City: This information is shown on the Club League page.

  • Address: This information is visible on the Club League page.

 

F. Dates:

 
  • Close sign in date: This information is used only to inform the players about the date and time for when the Club League admin plans to close the sign in. Note that the process of closing the sign in is not automated, the admin needs to do it manually in step 5.Close Signin In

  • Start Date:  This information is used to inform the players about the start date and time for the Club League. 

  • End Date: This information is used to inform the players about the end date and time for the Club League. 

G. Regulations:

 

You can add details about your Club League Here.

 

H. Matches type

  • Matches type

 

In matches type, you can select “Men Singles”, “Women Singles”, "Men Double", "Women Double" or "Mixed Double". 
Later the ranking, points will be filtered in the ranking category/group “Men Singles”, “Women Singles”, "Men Double", "Women Double" or "Mixed Double"

 
  • Age group

 

In this category you can select the age group for the players. Later in the ranking, points will be filtered according to the selected age group.

I. Pools settings

 
  • Number of Pools

 

This setting defines the number of pools for the club league. 

 
  • Players per pool

 

This setting defines the pool size. You can adjust the pool size in step “3.Players” when adding players.

 

Advanced Options

In the advanced options, you can define the rules for generating the standing positions for each pool in the Club League.
