Normally a ranking has a separate list for every age group – Men-Main, Boys U14, Boys U16 and so on. When a player moves up from U14 to U16 or to the adult category, they start again on a new list.
The Unified “All” ranking solves this. It combines points from all age groups into one continuous list per gender:
- All-Men
- All-Women
Every result counts in the All list with a weight (multiplier) that you set for each class type – for example, juniors can earn a share of what an adult result is worth.
A dual system – nothing is lost
Your existing age-group rankings keep being calculated every week, exactly as before. In parallel, the system calculates the All-Men and All-Women lists. One setting in Ranking Details decides which of the two is shown publicly and used for seeding. You can switch back and forth at any time.
What is included
- All-Men and All-Women exist separately for Doubles and for Singles. Formats are never merged. If your federation doesn’t run singles, you will simply never see singles lists – just like today.
- Points from Tournaments, Team Leagues, Club Leagues and Team Championships all count into All, using your multipliers.
- External Ranking Points are already final and are never multiplied.
- There is no separate Mixed list. Mixed results are split between All-Men and All-Women (see 17.5 Mixed classes).
- Wherever age groups appear in the system, “All-Men” / “All-Women” now behave as an additional age-group value.
Not affected: skill ratings. No “All” skill group is created – skill ratings stay per category, and the player profile shows the Skill Rating as before.
