When the Unified ranking is ON, the category selector on the public ranking page offers only All-Men and All-Women. The age-group lists are hidden, so players see one clear list.
Public ranking page – the selector offers All-Men and All-Women. The Age group, Gender and search filters work as before.
The filter row below the selector stays exactly as today:
- Age group – show only players of one age group, e.g. Boys Under 18.
- Gender – show only men or women.
- Search for a player – find a player by name.
The Age group column shows each player’s own age group. Because points follow the class (see 17.4), a player can appear on a list of the other gender if they played in classes of that gender.
The Natural Rank column (N)
The All list is one long list, so the best U18 player might be number 9 overall. To show where a player stands within their own age group, an extra column appears when you use the Age group filter.
- The column is marked with an N icon (hover it for a tooltip).
- It numbers the players of the selected age group 1, 2, 3 … to the end, continuing across pages.
- It appears only when the Age group filter is used. Using only the Gender filter or only the player search does not show it. Without an Age group filter the list looks exactly as before.
Example – All-Men list filtered by Age group: Boys Under 18:
N = your natural ranking position, only for your age category. ▲ / ▼ = position change, always of the All position (#).
How to read the columns
- # – the player’s position in the whole All list. This is the official position used everywhere else.
- ▲ / ▼ – the position change. It always refers to the All position (#), never to N.
- N – the Natural Rank inside the selected age group.
Combining filters
If you add a Gender filter or search for a player while an Age group filter is active, N still shows the player’s position within the whole age group. It is not renumbered for the smaller result – so a player searching for their own name sees their real position in the age group, not “1”.
On small screens
When there is not enough space, columns fold into the expandable row. The Natural Rank column is the first to fold.
